About Us

LGBT Foundation is a national charity with LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. For 50 years, we’ve been at the heart and soul of queer liberation, from our humble beginnings as a helpline for the gay and lesbian communities of Greater Manchester to our wide range of services for LGBTQ+ communities today that include support for recovery, domestic abuse, sexual health, mental health, veterans and organisational training nationwide.

We’re so excited to be releasing our first-ever merch range in 2025, celebrating our incredible journey over the last five decades. Our inaugural Archive Collection takes inspiration from designs of LGBT Foundation’s past—whether it’s the memories of flyering in the Gay Village, a late ‘90s edition of OutNorthWest Magazine or the condom pack branding of yesteryear, we’ve spun these influences into an exclusive release of tees and accessories that we’re proud to share—and that you’ll feel proud to wear. #WearItWithPride

100% of profits from this collection are re-invested in our services and events, meaning each cap, tee or tote purchased is one vital donation closer to hope and joy for LGBTQ+ folks, allowing them to achieve their full potential. With LGBTQ+ rights in the UK under threat in the most serious way we’ve seen this century, your choice to support our collection and #WearItWithPride is essential to ensuring our history isn’t erased, and our future is protected.

ARTIST’S LINES: ARCHIVE INSPIRATION

Scarlett Novoa

Everything I found in the LGBT Foundation's archives was very intriguing! The bold colour palettes, the beautiful line illustrations, and the typical blue and yellow chromatic distortion of the slide viewer are the elements that inspired me the most for this collection. It was a challenge to create a range of designs that different types of audiences could enjoy, but I'm happy I was nevertheless able to leave my creative imprint across all the pieces.
